Crown Forestry Rental Trust is made up of three main business teams responsible to the Chief Executive. The Chief Executive is in turn responsible to the governing Trustees.
The Chief Executive is responsible for providing strategic leadership to CFRT and ensuring the organisation meets its objectives. The Chief Executive maintains an overview of all aspects of CFRT operations.
Funded Services is led by the Director Funded Services and consists of a team of principal advisors, funding contract managers, research facilitators and mapping facilitators. This team of specialists engages directly with claimant groups, providing operational, specialist advice, research and mapping funding support to help them prepare, present and negotiate their Treaty of Waitangi claims.
Corporate Services and Assurance
Corporate Services and Assurance is led by the Director, Corporate Services & Assurance. This team carries out the Trust's Assurance and Corporate Services functions.

- Risk management

- Financial management
- Information technology
